Shot during my first trip to the Putumayo region in the south of Colombia., at the Páramo de La Cocha.

​

This is an important and sacred hydric area, where el Páramo gives birth to the Guamuez River, that then becomes the Putumayo river, one of the three sources of the Amazon River.

​

Taita Camilo, leader of the Quillasinga people, tells the foundational mythology of the La Cocha lake.
