Neus Català was a catalan republican exiled in France after the Spanish Civil War. In 1942 she was detained for her activities within the Resistance and sent to a labour camp in Holleischen, in Germany, very close to the Czech Republic border. There she was forced to built weapons and became a leader of the sabotage activities.
